Captains

Rodney Agyare-May

Rodney Agyare-May

Rodney is a handsome young black man from Worcester, MA, and is on the track and field team. Rodney is a sophomore who lives Currier and is planning on majoring in mathematics. Despite liking math, Rodney is not a nerd and proof of this can be found on his instagram page (@RodneyA_May). Rodney is a man of many talents some of which include being able to solve a rubik's cube in under 1 min and running really fast. He’s part of many clubs and in order to find out what those clubs are you have to ask him!!!
Alyssa Bravin

Alyssa Bravin

Alyssa is an enthusiastic captain from Natick, Mass (Hey Sarah!! Go Mass!) who's in Kirkland (#TheLand. tell your friends) and is Brazilian. With a 2ndary in Classics and concentrating in Chemistry, she hopes to formulate an unprecedented cleaning chemical that can clean up everything from a messy bathroom to the grammar in your term paper. When not brutalizing soap scum, Alyssa could be found running with Harvard Running Club, HSHS, or pedaling around on her svelte self-built road bike. Feel free to ask her about life sciences/premed at Harvard, undergrad research, the DIY lifestyle, popcorn, her dogs or anything else; she loves to chat!

Byman

Joel Byman

Joel is a native of Indiana and came to Harvard with the intention of developing his toilet-cleaning abilities through Dorm Crew. Unfortunately, toilet-cleaning is not a Harvard-approved concentration, so he plans on studying economics. The central point of his life is a relationship with Jesus, and he can usually be found at his church (Hope Fellowship) or with Harvard Christian Impact. He is also a member of the Harvard Band (go trumpets!), loves to play the piano, and wishes he worked out more. He would love to talk about anything with you, so please reach out!

Aranza Caballero

Aranza Caballero

Aranza Caballero ’20 is a junior in Currier House concentrating in History and Science with a focus in Medicine and Society and a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. She is originally from Brownsville, TX, but lived in Mexico for 10 years. When she is not making bathrooms shine, she can be found indulging on Latin food, running (to burn all that food), shopping, and watching Spanish tv shows. She is also involved with The Crimson, Latinas Unidas, and HACIA Democracy.

HaigCholakian

Haig Cholakian

Haig Cholakian ’21 is a sophomore in Adams House who really wants to concentrate in, but probably won’t end up concentrating in, Applied Math (#flake). Ever since his first cleanup, he’s developed an unhealthy habit of checking every, and he means every, horizontal surface for dust. When he’s not trying to beat his chair-folding time (#workSCU), you can find him spilling the tea, trying to catch ‘em all, explaining Pokémon references to friends, and coming up with terrible captions for his Finsta. A Dubai-born, ethnically Armenian, Canadian, Haig regularly complains about the lack of good beaches, Middle Eastern food, and coffee near Cambridge. Ask him about Harvard, his identity crisis, how to swap concentrations every other day, his love of Tim Hortons, or really anything! No really, he literally can’t stop talking.

Rebekah Chun

Rebekah Chun

Rebekah Americaborn of the House Chun ’19, Queen of Vacuuming, Protector of the Floor, Mother of Enzysan, Breaker of Transoxy bottles, Khaleesi of Napping, is a senior in Lowell House. She thinks about biomedical engineering and philosophy when she concentrates. She enjoys eating mango, drinking coffee and tea, being involved in research, Health Leads, Harvard College Faith and Action, and Harvard Biomedical Engineering Society.

Cook

Westley Cook

Westley Cook, a junior in Leverett House joint concentrating in Social Studies and East Asian Studies, doesn’t always take selfies but when he does it’s usually with deer he finds by the ocean.  Westley developed a love of cleaning at a young age: as a 3-year-old whose little hands couldn’t quite grip a vacuum, he ate dead bugs and dirt off his windowsills and floorboards.  When he’s not waging warfare on The Dirty or lounging on a couch eating popcorn while he googles summaries of his many assigned readings, you can find Westley singing men’s choral and a capella music with the Harvard Glee Club, learning to ollie on the skateboard he borrowed from Diego, wishing he knew how to play the guitar, and trying to convince Harvard to pay for him to go back to Japan again (#fourtimesandcounting).

Diego Covarrubias

Diego Covarrubias

Diego Covarrubias '20 is a rising junior living in Leverett House. Originally from the small Central Ohio town of Marysville, Diego has a strange affinity for cosplaying as the world's least qualified Abercrombie & Fitch model (see picture). Even though he plans to spend the rest of his life behind a screen as a Computer Science concentrator, when Diego is not brandishing a bottle of Enzysan, he can usually be found in a garden/park listening to 1 of his 118 favorite Weezer songs.

Timothy Daniel

Timothy Daniel

Timothy Daniel (2021) is a sophomore of Currier House and is currently interested in studying Chemistry along with acquiring a secondary in African or African American Studies. He is currently pre-med and is learning Swahili. Timothy is from the great city of Houston, TX, home of the best Tex-Mex, tacos, and hopefully the future 2018 MLB champions and 2019 NBA champions. Timothy currently participates in Partners in Health Engage and different Christian organizations on campus. His hobbies include playing Settlers of Catan as well as reading comics, eating out, and just hanging out with friends in general. He tries to keep busy, but he’ll always have enough time to at least stop and say hello to a passing friend, which could be somebody he has known for a long time, or somebody he’s only met twice.

Frimodig

Ben Frimodig

Ben Frimodig is a rising sophomore in Dunster House originally from a small town in southern Michigan. Although he has yet to decide on a concentration, he is leaning towards either Psychology or History. In his free time, Ben writes for The Crimson news board and teaches Boston elementary schoolers with the CIVICS program. He looks forward to working with the incoming freshmen at this year’s Fall Clean Up!

Garcia

Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia ’19 is a rising senior in Currier House. Hailing from sunny Los Angeles, you can bet he enjoys Bostonian winters, mostly from inside warm buildings. When he isn’t concentrating in English, he is concentrating on how he will find a job after college. Fortunately, he has a secondary in Theater, Dance, and Media so he can at least act like he has a post-grad job lined up. He enjoys swimming, running, biking, and organizing Stein Club for Currier – often simultaneously. His greatest passion, however, is tackling the stickiest of sticky spots.

Charis

Charis Garman

Charis Garman is a rising sophomore in Lowell House who aspires to concentrate in Neurobiology. She’s originally from Waco, Texas, so whenever it’s under 50 degrees you can find her bundled up with hot chocolate, binge watching something on Netflix. When the weather is survivable you can find her at the beach daydreaming about being featured on Queer Eye. Charis’ family owns a Greek restaurant so you may often hear her bragging about her “chef skills”, though you’ll rarely see her in the kitchen.

Giaquinto

Olivia Giaquinto

Olivia is a rising junior on the softball team. We know she's good at it because almost the entire first row of google image results are actually of her (which might be where we got this picture). In her spare time, you can find Olivia scraping showers at a record pace of 20 minutes (if you want proof you can just ask any of the other captains). She is ready and raring to go for Fall Clean-Up! Whoo!!

Brandon Hills

Brandon Hills

Brandon Hills ‘20 is a rising Junior living right below the golden dome of Adams House. Born in Los Angeles, raised in Atlanta, and living in either Malaysia or Jordan depending on the season, he suffers from a slight geographical identity crisis. He plans to concentrate in Applied Mathematics so he can use linear optimization models to hone his cleaning efficiency. When not waging war on greasy residue in college bathrooms, you can find Brandon monopolizing the science center telescope, wandering the Adamsian tunnels, or biking haphazardly through Cambridge traffic. He is a member of the Beekeeping Society, a photographer for The Crimson, and an enthusiast for Harvard’s Christian Impact.

Tatiana

Tatiana Jimenez

Tatiana Jimenez ’21 is a rising sophomore in Lowell House! Originally from South San Francisco, CA and raised in Elk Grove, CA, you can usually find Tati debating with other Californian natives as to why she believes Norcal>>>SoCal. She plans on concentrating in Environmental Sciences, but is currently deciding as to whether follow the Earth and Planetary Sciences or Environmental Science and Public Policy track. Speaking of track, Tats is also a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field team here at Harvard! Aside from raving about her home, running, or the importance of the environment, she loves being a Dorm Crew captain and is welcome to answering any questions you may have—anything from school to the best coffee shops in town!
